The COVID-19 pandemic was tough for Kiwis and businesses everywhere. The New Zealand tourism sector was hit particularly hard. Taupō’s businesses and operators (who are highly reliant on visitors and tour groups) took a significant revenue hit. Our brief was clear: promote the region and boost visitation and operator leads. We deployed successful omni-media strategies that included brand partnerships, influencer and traditional media buys. There streams came together to save livelihoods in the region. A campaign we’re very proud of!
